I worked last semester in the Learning Disabilities Center as an Alternate Media Assistant. I am happy to say that
I was able to learn the position and then train someone before I moved on. This type work was very rewarding because
I was able to help students a variety of challenges.
Some student are the blind and some student are print disable.
The blind may need their text books converted into Braille. And the print disable may require larger print of the text
book or their text books converted to MP3 format. All the services that are provide have to be approved by the Learning Disabilities
Center, and the author and publishers of all text books.
It is my goal to continue to helping others while attending
classes at the Sacramento City College

Things I like to do is build computers and being up on the web and programming. I am just now learning about a little
about Linux (Abutno 8.0 ) for all you Linux buffs any input you may have about applications ect., I would be happy to here
from you. Freeware would be great!
